Solstice Grid models electricity
Solstice Grid models electricity demand for regional utilities — the kind of work where being wrong by two per cent costs somebody millions. Their model was better than anyone else's. Their brand looked like a 2016 dashboard screenshot.
Approach
We built the identity around
We built the identity around certainty rather than energy — no gradients, no glowing grids, no wind turbines at golden hour. A fixed geometric wordmark, one high-contrast palette, and a data-mark that behaves like a measurement rather than a logo.
Outcome
Shipped four days before
Shipped four days before the funding announcement. Demo requests ran at 2.4× the prior quarter through the following two months, and three of the four utility partnerships announced since started from the demo rather than a sales call.
